Default help with diagnosis...

since my procharger, my car randomly starts to sputter at lower RPM's <3000 and throws the CEL, especially within the first 10 minutes of startup (thats when it is the worst). When i check those codes, it is anywhere from 1-8 cylinder misfires...as in all 8 are misfiring at random. Eventually, the computer will correct these issues itself and it runs fine. Mind you, these issues were not here before the supercharger.

The 40# injectors are new.
New stock coil packs.
New HTO plugs gapped on site by my installer.
Checked all connections from the engine harness to the coil packs
checked all relays that correspond to the coil packs and PCM.

Everything seems to be fine.

He said that my car had one cylinder misfire code from before stored in memory but it wasnt throwing a CEL for it so SUPPOSEDLY, i have been having this problem longer than i though but the computer self adjusted itself for it. The problem is 800% worse now.

100% x 8 cylinder misfires = 800%, lol.

I am taking it back on thursday for them to toy with all day but i was wondering if any of yall have had the same issue or know what it could be...

it's a tough one because you say you've checked
all the important items and everything seems to be
fine.
on top of that it's random.

the thing that may be most helpful is that the
problems started when the s/c went on. so that
leaves us with the tune or pieces that were
replaced at that time, as most likely suspects.

i hope the shop can figure this out, this is the
kind of nightmare that we all hope to avoid, when putting
on FI.

man, you're telling me. if i clear all the codes, it runs great for a while and sometimes all day. then out of the blue, it starts bogging, the CEL light comes on, then the computer corrects the problem and it runs fine again, but noticibly different than when the CEL light is off

i'm pretty sure modaddict would suspect the
plugs in this situation. i usually suspect something
throttle body or MAF related when i hear
issues like this.

who knows, maybe it's neither and maybe it's
100% tune. if it were my car i may have returned
it to stock, because i get impatient with
problems like this and would want a known
good reference point.

yeah, i feel ya. i am gonna have them take out all the new plugs and check the gapping on them. then, i may get some new piggybacks for the coil pack harnesses. Thinking that maybe they are not making good contact. But i dont think that you can take the harness apart and fit new wire in and close them back up. They are $25/piece. Still cheaper when a new engine harness will run me $520.
