Well I was washing my 2007 Mustang GT 2 weeks ago and the paint flaked off the inside of the drivers door handle. Being I have 64K on my stang and not under warranty, I wondered how much the handle was going to cost. Went to the Ford dealer service department and asked to speak to the service manager. Much to my surprise, he looked at the handle and said that he gets money from Ford each month to help out customers and for me to come back after 1 October and see him. I came back and he agreed to pay 50 percent of the replacement cost. Looks like my cost is going to be about $70.
