Default E-Brake slip...

So my e-brake usually comes up about 6" when applied. Yesterday when I applied it I felt a snap and the handle came all the way up. The brake still works but it's not as tight. Has anyone had this issue? Wondering how to re-adjust....

you can readjust it by ripping up the center console (6 screws/nuts) and using a wrench.
the cable is on a "sort of track", maybe you slipped it off? rip up the console and take a peek

I've been meaning to adjust mine for a while now, and I want to make sure I don't screw it up. Will I need to purchase the Scorpions CD, or can I just download the tracks from itunes?
