Default 2008 Bullitt . . thoughts?

Any thoughts on the Bullitt version of the car? I MIGHT be picking up a Mustang somtime early next year. I really enjoy the color, as it is very close to the Boston Green of my current car.

Is it worth it in your opinions?

Chances are people who have them will say Yes, people who don't will say No. At least that is what it seems like so far... what I will say is..

I use to have a 2006 Mustang GT, I now have a 2008 Mustang Bullitt, personally I LOVE the feel of the Bullitt soooo much more little things they did.. for example... the shifter I have noticed that the stock Bullitt shifter is alot more sturdy/solid/slighty more notchy then stock but still just as smooth. It comes with TONS of goodies don't bother looking for a place that lists them all together... the list is so long it seems nowhere remembers all the awesome things on them when they go to write the list but they add up. It truly feels alot different to me then just a regular GT in a better way.

Thats my opinion, all I can think to say is test drive a GT, and test drive a Bullitt you will notcie its all the small things that make it THAT much better.

They didnt do THAT many things to them from a normal GT.

Lowering springs (lowered it about .5 in, still not very sporty feeling)
GT 500 Seats (better lower bolstering)
GT 500 Steering Wheel
3.73 Gears
Spoiler Delete
Different pistons (no one has confirmed it yet, doesnt make a diff though)
Factory CAI
Spark advance tune (automatically tunes itself for optimal timing with whatever octane you choose)
18in wheels with BFG tires (still same width as normal GT tires, so useless in other words)
Different Exhaust H-Pipe
Bullitt Mufflers (still pretty quiet)
Bullit Strut tower brace
Dark Highland Green Paint (only green bullits, black bullits are just normal black)
Metal shifter ****
Metal Dash panel
Brushed (or flat) metal rings around vents and gauges
Bullitt cluster gauges
Bullitt front grill

it is a long list, but most of the stuff isnt very significant. My family owns two 08 bullitts and they are both changing the wheels, suspension, and exhaust. It is cool to have a bullitt but I rather spend the money on a 2010 (which has most upgrades a bullitt has and then some) or a 08 GT and put the rest of the money into mods.

Just my opinion though!

I LOVE the Bullitt, wish I had one in the dark green. Would never mod it either.

Thank you for your replies thus far. I'll definitely be test driving one and a regular GT when the time comes.

I got my Bullitt a few months ago and really like it. One thing that attracted me was the color, you can only get highland green in the Bullitt and it's plain or as some like to call it "stealth" look. I like the lack of badging. I found mine locally as well with only 1200miles on it. Seems like the car in the ad has been around for a little while so you should be able to talk them down in price a couple grand at least.

I have never driven a GT so I can't help you there. I could not find a GT the way I wanted it looks wise. I could not find a VB SGT in my price range and it always seemed I kept searching for a Bullitt and eventually I found one. I drive it everyday, Oregon rain be damned!
