Unhappy Gauge Color problem

Hi guys, just got a 2010 GT this weekend after having regretted not having my 2006 anymore for the last year. (sorry, no pics yet) I was on my way to work this morning in the rain with my headlights on when all of a sudden my gauges went to just being white and now I can't change the color on them. I wouldn't even be able to tell that my lights were on except I could see them being reflected off the car in front of me.

Has this happened to anyone else? I was hoping that there might be some setting that I have to change to get it fixed myself that I'm missing rather than having to take it back to the dealer already...

You can adjust the brightness. You may have inadvertently dialed it down. It happened to me and it took me a while before I figured it out.

I hope it's that, but I'm not sure because the background is still the bright white that you would normally see before you turn on the lights. Plus, the the red trail that you would normally see when you turn on the car and the meters go up & down (on the mph & rpms) isn't there.

I'm wondering if I blew a fuse or a bulb. I thought I hear a small pop but wasn't sure. (something made me look and see the color go off) Could it be a fuse? I wonder if the fuse for that is separate from the fuse for the white background light...

edit:
Should I try replacing the fuse myself, or should I take it to the dealer so it's on record in case this is a sign of other electrical issues with the car? (I know the fuse should be easy to replace)

Try the brightness dial then the fuse and use the dealer as a last resort. It is covered being a new car. It's always a pain for me going to the dealer.

I would say dealer first - especially since it could be a pain in the *** electrical issue. It's under warranty. And I doubt it's the brightness since with the lights on the gauges aren't white - but I could be wrong.

Tried the brightness, but that wasn't the problem. I am probably going to take it to the dealer. I went through the manual and am not sure exactly which fuse would be for that.

Funny thing - on my 2006, when you turned on the headlights the mycolor would kick in. On the 2010 - they kick in based on the time of day it is and not just if the headlights are on. Too bad I took a trip to the dealer to find that out...at least it's working now and nothing's broke.

Thanks for the help anyway!
