do you need to reprogram to work GT guages on a V6?
hey guys, my tachometer has been broken for about 2 years now, and i wanted to finally get it fixed, and i thought as long as they are fixing that, i might as well swap out the V6 guage faceplate for the GT, does anybody know if its simply plug and play? or do i need to reprogram the comp to run it?

My only guess would be that you need to calibrate it but you would need to do that anyways. Other than that all of the info should be the same. Just make sure if you have a premium model you get that GT instrument panel, if you have a base then get a GT base instrument panel. Otherwise your info screen won't work.

ya, i got the digital screen so i know i need to get that one, thats why i thought maybe if u just plug the chip in it could sort out the rest. but idk, i wonder if i should stay with the standard black face or look for something more stylish?
