I tend to park way out in no mans land...my wife says the walking is extra exercise...yeah. Anyways, at the mall I park way out, the spots that dont even fill up on Black Friday...but it never fails, I never see anyone park there, no one when I arrive, but when I leave there's at least one or two guys parked next to me. One time my car was surrounded by 5 others. And typically its POSs!! WTF

...not very often, as distantsoldier stated, even if I choose to park out in no man's land to avoid any possible situation (scratch or ding), it seems someone always tends to park right up next to the car when there are many closer spots??...LOL!!

to the OP, at least you were surrounded by some great looking cars....

yeah, I been pretty lucky that so far my car has been spared. The only thing I got is on the passenger side door handle there is a light rub mark that is only about 1 to 2 millimeters thick and about 1 inch long. I still take my thumb to it hard everytime I go on that side though... as if maybe this time it will rub off.

Is it a scratch or just paint transfer? If it's a scratch in the paint, the only thing to to is to have it fixed, but if it's paint transfer, you should be able to have that removed no problem with some rubbing compound.

Hey jd, Love it when that happens! Doesnt happen that often though especially in a STOP AND SHOP. Great pic. Ill park wherever there are no other cars at the end of the parking lot and always oniangle so its harder to have a door dinged
