Default New guy with S/C question

Hello everybody,

My Names is Josh and I proudly own this 2007 gt c/s

Current mods are bama chips custom tunes hurst short throw, shaker hood, and magnaflow mufflers with a off road X. I am lookin to buy a SC kit once I sell my truck but ive found myself in a pickel.
I can get the throwback vortech kit from brenspeed for $3500 because I do not need the programmer or injectors (already have a set just not installed). Or I can get a paxton from BMC performance that comes with a air to air cooler for 2800. the BMC kit is only the charger and cooler. No tunes or anything. Basicaly my question is has anybody delt with BMC performance? Cuz this kit is a heck of a deal. http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/1001853-1.htm and I know brenspeed is top notch. But I did the math and it would be cheaper to buy the bmc kit that comes with the cooler and just get the tunes and boost a pump and other stuff seperate.

I couldnt agree with you more Loots. Brenspeed is an outstanding company. But dang 2800 for a cooled paxton is so hard to pass up.

Building boost on a budget always leads to more expense than first planned.

Dont know BMC but its a great deal. Might want to call Paxton and ask them about this particular dealer and ask for their feedback.. If positive, then its an amazing deal and when u get it installed, have it tuned specifically for your car. Each car is different and if you ant to pull to the last hp and tq, then dyno specifivally to your car is your best bet. And if you go with brenspeed, well you know you cant go wrong there.

that one from BMC is the novi 1200 head unit, not the 2200 HO unit. they retail for $3k, so the price is pretty good, but not unheard of. BMC is the black mustang club's performance shop.
