Okay so I have pretty much decided headers. However I have never really researched them or know what the best sounding combos are..any thoughts?? I have heard a lot of good things about kooks.

Is there a big difference in the h-pipe or the x-pipe?

From my understanding, a little. The X-pipe is supposed to yield slightly more performance and better flow while the H-pipe is a more designed to create the more old school deep muscle sound.

Crappy quality, but it's the Kooks LTs with catted H and Bassanni's...

Check out my video of my car. I have ARH longtubes with a catted H-pipe along with the Roush off-road mid pipe extreme exhaust. I plan on doing cams next. Not sure which cam I'll be doing though.

I like the sound of the kooks, sounds mean but not too much.

I really like the sound of the second one but I think it may be a little too radical for me. Anything in the middle, or is it basically kooks?

I think that comes down to the mid-pipe and mufflers more than anything... I don't think Kooks will sound much different than ARH headers.
