I'm near Fredericksburg, Bring em up with some beer.. used during breaks....we'll get em done no problem! There really wasn't much too it to tell the truth. Just put plenty of tape between the window and body before sawing out the glue. I messed around with it for about half a day from start to finish.Took several breaks too while doing it. I didn't want to get in a rush and scratch something.
I have a friend that lives in Fredericksburg, I'm sure I could stay with them while the window cures. From what I've read, you need to let the car sit for 6-8 hours to give it a good seal. Plus you aren't supposed to close your doors with the windows up while it's drying. It causes cabin pressure that could mess up the seal.
I may take you up on that offer, but we may have to wait until the weather gets warmer. I did read that temps should be in the 60s.

Sure . Anytime. unless its a weekend I'm racing. Let me know a little ahead of time..I have everything... but new tubes of sealant...Should get them at NAPA right before you do it...Has a short shelf life. Letting it sit for a while is right...But the main thing is not to close the doors with all the windows up..the first day..I left the tape on till they cured so they would not sag while setting up also.
Thanks Legend...Back at ya!
Heyz all I just got my SHR window louvers yesterday and the complete install kit. Now I cant wait to get them put in. Might try and do New Years weekend but I'll have to see about that....lol
