I know when you buy a tuner it comes with 3 custom tunes from the place where you got it. But what happens if I buy it from brenspeed and I want to try out a bama tune or tillman speed? Do I have to erase one of the brenspeed tunes then? Or do they save on the computer or does the tuner hold more than 3 tunes? Does the tuner come with the USB cable or do I have to buy that extra?
I believe you should be able to save the brenspeed tunes to your computer or at least you can ask them to email them to you also...the bama tunes for the X3 are only $50 and the Tillman tunes are $75 I believe...the tuner does not come with the usb cord to my knowledge or at least when I bought mine it didnt...but all you need is the usb cord from your printer if you have one at your house

something to consider.. Brenspeed is the only one that will support FI tunes and they do an incredible job making sure you are safe and happy. they just did the tune for my ride... #'s in sig.

Good to Know, but it would be very difficult if not impossible for me to go with a new tuner. Brenspeed just dials it in and if they miss a beat they are right there to fix it.

My X3 came with the USB cable (from Bamachips). You can't download the tunes from the X3 onto your PC, so you would have to ask the company to email you them. I know Bama can/does, but it's up to them. You would have to overwrite one of the three tune slots if you already have all three filled.
