you have stockers on there right now?
why not grab a cheap set of winter rubber? it's only cold for 3-4 months in your area...and to be honest, only about 2 months of that time is consistently below 50F
then just get the most aggressive summer performance rubber possible for your new rims. I did that when I lived down near Austin...and up in Seattle.
In the end, I quit swapping tires around though. Just drive carefully when it's cold out and save some money. High Performance Summer tires do suffer in the cold, but they are still decent
