Default Removing Headlight Switch

Can anybody tell me how to remove the headlight switch out of my '06 GT? I know it's probably easy, but I don't want to break anything. I want to try to replace the illumination bulb.

Just gently pry it forwards, comes right out. You "could" use the widest flat blade screw driver you have, I'd highly recomend picking up a set of plastic interior trim tools, they are worth their weight in gold.

chopper man is right, you can pry it out
pretty easily....

the second time around, i figured out that you can
also just reach up and push it out from the
inside....

Thanks guys. Actually, I have a set of the plastic interior tools - I'll use them.

This info came in handy, I need to replace my bulb when I get my mustang back from the shop

Oh, and there is no stock bulb that you can use to replace it.. you can though buy a bulb at radioshack that gets the job done but does not have the same light output. Ford wants you to buy their whole panel D:
