I seem to recall the reasoning for the third light was so you could see the car braking two cars ahead of you through the windows of the car directly ahead of you. The effect was negated somewhat by the proliferation of trucks/SUVs/soccer moms.

has anyone had any problems with the web electric kit? I installed one on my 2007 GT and one of the lights doesnt flash at all in the sequence.
