I just bought a dual pillar gauge pod and I'm in the process of installing it. I'm going to put in Autometer water temp and oil pressure gauge. I'm going to use a oil filter adapter and radiator hose adapter for the sending units. What is the best gauge type to get - mechanical or electrical gauges for this set-up?

ive had a mechanical oil pressure gauge that mysteriously sprung a pin hole leak. wow , what a mess, shot like a severed artery.

From my personal experience the sandwich adaptors blow.

Depending on what brand the spacer is and how thick it is, have fun trying to do an oil change as the filter is less than 1/8" away from the front sway bar
