Pricing for 2011
Different world now, though. I doubt they'd refuse a sale.
Even still...I would have been calling Ford Customer Care at that point and told them dealerships were refusing to take the x-plan discounts. Considering that they are representing Ford, I'm sure the corporate side would be more than willing to throw some of their muscle around to not get bad PR for the company.
I ordered a 2011 yesterday. This pricing was right on what the dealer quoted me. My dealer gave me a small break, below msrp, and told me they will start building end of March. I was surprised at no additional dealer markup, but the local dealer here is very good to work with.

Since you are in Oregon, you don't still pay tax on the car do you? I'm up in WA and have thought about driving down to Oregon to purchase a 2011 to avoid the tax on it.
you would still pay tax on it once you register it, unless you register it in oregon, but then would need an address there.
I must agree that California is one of the highest, if not THE highest taxed states in the nation. I am here cause my parents brought me here when I was a knee high to a grasshopper. Way back in the 60's & 70's it wasn't anywhere near as bad as it is now. We have sales tax, income tax, vehicle registration tax, county tax, property tax, air quality tax (yea, no kidding. it's a fee on your new car registration), and the list goes on and on. Can't wait till I can move.
