I agree with what most have said. A buddy of mine had an off road H & muffler deletes, it drove him crazy & the car really did not sound all that good...

I have muffler deletes on mine but I have the original H w/cats. The car sounds great, but if I ever go to an off road set up I will put mufflers back on the car.

That vid makes me want to take my boom tubes back off! I ran around with stock h and no mufflers for a while and although it droned a bit and the pipes hit the axle or something over big bumps, it sounded sick when you punch it. I wish i would have started my car when i installed my shorties just to head open headers...

However, he did run SLP LM with stock catted H and stock manifold at one point. He said that was the best sounding set-up he had. He wished he could have that sound back. Once the L/T went on, the SLPs sounded like crap.

i think im gonna go with a small resonator type muffler and a muffler delete. anyone think that will sound ok? i dont mind drone or loud, but i like good sound. and i hate the trumpeting im getting now, its embarrasing.

Another option would be hi-flow cats. It will help with the trumpeting, get rid of the un-burnt fuel smell, pass emissions and because of the back pressure, you will gain a little low end tq.
