A guy I know owns a shop down here in Houston, PSI Motorsports. He built a 200+ mph S197.
950 hp on race gas, 850 hp on pump gas. Fully streetable, AC, power steering, etc. Ran 204 mph at the Texas mile, and tops out around 215.
It was for sale, but it sold. Check the link, then PSI shop car 2008 GT500, if the link doesnt take you directly there.

That car could never reach those high speeds unless he was running high gears( numerically low). That is the whole reason they set it up that way. After all the whole reason they went to Bonneville was to set a speed record. They wouldn't be able to run low gears ( numerically high, example 4:10s) and reach near that speed.
