I know that is a calculated value on the digital message center so who knows...
See, this almost sounds like my situation too

Heh, no no no... I treat everyone on this forum like family. Like Jerry said, I was referring to the club members on another board who said I clearly didn't know what I was talking about. No worries.

Ok with the huge 2" of snow gone now here in NC LOL I took the stang to work, tank said 63 miles to empty, no orange gas light and I know they say when filling up once stops only squeeze handle 2 times if the handle jumps, cause you're full, well I violated that today...sorry, but pumped at 2.59 a gallon to $30, the 2 pops of handle was at $28 so popped it a few or more times than twice and only took 11.54, so if I was driven her hard as I was a little last week, 20 miles to gallon, 63 miles to empty, @ what I figured was 20 miles to gallon would put it to what I thought, if let get to 0 miles to empty you could probably...in a pinch get 20 more miles, but I would never do that, but if you were tired and driving and did not notice it at 0, better stop in next 5 miles.....now with that said, after fill up, reset all gauges, drove 30 miles anywhere from 45 to 70 mph and average was 27.5, not running it up fast, just driving smooth, on a trip though I can get 29 easy, also took my cone K&N filter and cleaned and re-oiled , even though did not look dirty, I figured 8,000 miles has to have some dirt in there, but did not seem that dirty. so that is my finding for the day, you guys have a good one. my V6 CTS only gets 21 all day long

I have run mine down to the gas light a couple of times. There is still 3 gallons in it. I suggest everyone do that so they know what the guages are telling you.
