ORIGINAL: Cappi

I have a pretty loud clicking every few seconds as well. It just started & occurs only when the A/C is on. What exactly is that & does it mean something has went? or is that supposed to be when the compressor is on?
This noise is normal as per my Ford tech. Also my 2001 Explorer did it as well as every one of my departments cruisers. It may be a certain setup that has a valve or something though because my wife's 03 Taurus dosn't do it.

Yeah mabey it's only an issue with some setups or mabey it is a very common malfunction and the folks at Ford don't know what it is. All I can say is that I've heard it on at least 10 Ford vehicles and the air conditioning works fine on them.
