Default Warranty expiring soon

So any last minute things I should get fixed before my warranty runs out?
Would TSB's still be able to get fixed once my warranty expires next month?

No, TSB's will not extend warranty coverage. Any TSB performed after your warranty expires are retail/customer pay items. I work in a dealership and hear complaints in regards to this all the time...

I would suggest you take it to a mechanic you trust and have him check everything. My mechanic found a leaky shock. I called the dealer and ordered the shock. made an appt to have it replaced. The service guy almost crapped his drawers when i told him i already ordered the shock and he has it in stock.

Sound advice to take it to a shop you trust for a once over. I would run through the car myself as well just to make sure stuff like the power windows work, door lock cylinders work etc.

Check for the dreaded water leak.

Check for corrosion on the underside of the front edge of the hood.

Check the condition of the battery if you are still using the original one.

Check out the TSBs here;

https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...tech-info.html

I had the TSB 06-25-15 Aluminum Body Panels Corrosion. Here are some pictures of my hood before it was fixed.

Do check under your hood. It may look like the paint is blistering or bubbling but it's the TSB.

Battery coverage only extends if the battery throws a special code that is warantable (spelling?). Just because the battery appears sluggish, if they throw it on their tester and it doesn't reflect the code, they won't cover it.

I had one go out (battery) and they went through the testing process with me. It takes between 30 minutes and 4 hours...

Correct, the AVR test will provide the tech with a code, Ford requires that code for any battery replacement under warranty...The AVR test oftens simply performs a recovery charge to fix a no start concern. The battery has to be non-recoverable for any replacement to happen.
