Compressor clutch does not engage... No A/C... HELP
I have an 07 GT. As stated in the title, the A/C does not work. Under warranty Ford replaced the PCM and CCM three times. They had it in the shop for over a month... After the new PCM it worked for about a month or two. It stopped working again. 44000 miles on the clock but I do have the extended warranty. Would Ford cover the cost or am I screwed? I dont even think they have any idea how to fix it.
While the new PCM was being shipped, one of the Techs bypassed the A/C Clutch relay with a wire. It blew cold but there was no way to turn it off and the lines would freeze up...
Should I take it to Ford again and let them mess with it? Is the extended warranty any good? Or does anyone have any idea how I could fix this myself?

I would think if you took it in 3x already for the same problem only for it to act up again, Ford should pick up the tab. They should have fixed it right the first time.
Isn't there some sort of Lemon-Law for things like this especially if he has taken it in 3x?

MELLOWYELLOW06, if the clutch was out on the compressor, it wouldnt work if I bypassed the relay would it? I dont know much about A/Cs...
07 Stang, I guess Im going to try the dealer again, I just hate not having my baby for weeks at a time... And I wasnt sure if the extended warranty was any good.
nh3, Theres only two near me... The one I bought it from are slow, rude, and didnt impress me much at all when I took it in for defective valve stems. At least the one Im taking it to now, the people are very friendly there and dont care about the mods...
