New! Quick questions

one other problems that was common on the '05s was a problem with the trottlebody. There was a TSB on it. After driving for a while the car would stall. I had to have this fixed in my car.
You didn't mention if you had a coupe or a convertible. Another problem with the convertibles was that one of the top bows would rub against the the material and wear a hole on the left side from the inside out. There was a tsb for this also. I was lucky, I'm one of those older guys that takes immaculate care of his car and fixed this before it became an issue. If you don't show any signs of wear, you should put some black duct tape on the tip of the top bow to act as an insulator and protect the top. This was the "fix" recommended in the TSB to protect the new tops from succoming to the same problem.

The 2005 did not have an aux port. The shaker 500 has a button for it but the wiring harnass does not have any support for it. Some have installed a "P.I.E." adaptor. IT's available form crutchfield.

Read thru the TSB's in one of the stickies to this forum. That'll provide you about 90% of the issues with these cars. Don't be alarmed at the LONNNNG list of TSB's. But pay particular attention to the water leak and fuel pump TSB's.
