Coolan Expansion Tank Help? Plastic one bulging bad.

Jason, good talking to you last night. I canceled the order and will come get it from you bro. Id rather support a friend. When I searched the product, it didnt bring you up and I just didnt use my brain I guess.

Ive never steered anyone in the wrong direction here and if you could get it from 281, I highhly suggest and recommend them. Great people and company. You know you are in good hands with them as they stand behind their customers.

MellowYellow - one suggestion if your plastic tank is bulging. That was happening to a friend's car and he figured it was the supercharger intercooler being too small and his headers and S/C head unit heating things up as well under the hood.
After getting the car up on the lift he discovered coolant leaking from the head - blown head gasket was causing the plastic tank to overheat and expand. Make sure you don't have a head gasket problem.

good deal, mellow! i still gotta order mine...
judging by the amount of people that have had this same issue with these tanks, plus the fact that vortec/paxton did acknowlege a while back that they'd had a "bad batch", i think the vast majority of bulging tanks are due to the tanks themselves.
that said, i too appreciate the info, jim! i'll be checking my head gasket as well.
