Default shaker 500 sub replacements

So I want to change the speakers in my car without getting rid of the shaker 500 unit. Can anyone give me specific models/links to subs that are compatible with an 07 GT without any modifications to accomodate them. Did some searching but nothing just seemed to confuse me more. I know this subject has been beat to death and I apologize. Would it also be necessary to change the amp or will the stock amp be fine with aftermarket subs? According to a website the sub sizes are 6x8. Max budget is roughly $300. Thanks. Also, if possible I'd prefer links to a website where I can purchase using international credit cards as I'm residing outside the US so websites like Crutchfield are inacessible .

Here is the link to the Kicker system sold through Shelby American. Shelby got kicker to make this system specifically for our cars, so it's a plug and play upgrade, no modification required. The entire system is far above your budget, but you can buy certain components (front door speakers and door subs) within your budget.

Here's a link to a bundle of threads on this system over at the Team Shelby forum.

Hope this helps!

The door subs they use are kickers shallow mount ones. Anyone know the impedance of these door subs?

I have been trying to buy a set of the Shelby/Kicker 8" door subs. Every time I try, it says they are out of stock. They are $150 for the pair.

Will upgrading the subs alone make a difference? What type of improvement with only a sub gain could one expect?

The 8" subs are dual voice coil. 2 ohm load on those. If you don't have the dual 10" in the back, then new 8" will add a lot. As for the 6by8", they're actually 3" and 1" in a 6by8 hole. They have their own inclosure, but you can replace with actualy 6by8 or a 3" and 1" component set.
