Default Turn off the 02 sensors?

Is there a way to just turn off the O2 sensors with my predator tuner without getting a whole new tune made up? I would like to put on an off road H pipe. Also, I've heard that the Pypes Brand has issues. Anyone who has them care to share their experience?

You can get a couple of sets of spark plug non-fouler adapters and use them to move your O2 sensors out of the exhaust stream. I did this to mine because of a "bad cat" code, and the code has not returned.

I have the pypes o/r h and the fitment and quality was trash. I don't believe there is a way to turn off the o2's yourself through your tuner. It has to be done in the custom tune file you receive I believe. I would think twice about the pypes, imo.

depends on the firmware on the predator. its the HEGO settings. You might have access to them if the tuner is on a couple older revisions

Nola, that's cool. I wasn't liking all the headaches and swearing underneath my car trying to force fit it in.

depending on the software version on the diablo you may be able to turn off the rear o2's or the feature was removed with newer firmware

plug it in , if there is the option, you are good to go

if there isn't, you have to have the tune re-written with the O2's off
