Talking

I couldn't find anything under $600 for the install and that is with my parts. I decided to do it myself with the help of a mechanic friend of mine. It took longer than I expected. We dropped the entire axle out and that made it much easier to get at. Everything went back together without issue. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet but judging from all the posts, I will not be disappointed.

Cant wait to hit the track w/ them...
Not having to downshift to pass on the highway owns. Silly little beemers and G30-somethings wouldn't even know what to think if I wasn't outrunning them in 5th gear.

That's a real shame. But at least you don't take OFFENSE. That sure would be a whole lot worse.

I called our local dealer who quoted $1200 for gear with installation. When I told him I could get it done for about $500 he said that is the cost of the fluids alone?

Ya, 5th gear fun and all. But I had to try 3rd @ 63ish-mph, which put me around 4500rpm and whatever was passing me, wasn't shorty after...lol, that was fun(car pulled is all I can say). This could be a bad thing, I hope my radar on top of its game.

Damn, they sure use a lot of lube to screw you. They're hardcore!

The fluids are not even $50. :/
