well I just got mine outs the shop so here's a pic.

The hood locks look great but are compressing the two pieces of fiberglass that make the hood. I am working on a solution that evolves cutting pieces of rubber to fill in the gap. It seems to be working. I had the body shop mount them in the hood and it looks like the right one is over lapping where the ram air ducting is going to go. I hope to work on that this week and get this project completed.

Looks great! I can see what you mean about the hood locks compressing the fiberglass in the first picture.

Looks AWESOME, SLCustomGCS! It is such a cool hood, isn't it? I'm going to steal your chrome door handle idea. Where did you get them?

Nice Vert, that hood looks sweet!!!!!! I had the same problem with my hood locks, I just didnt wrench down too hard on the bolts and so far no problem. Post some pics when you do the ram air. I would like to know if it will clear the blower and if I can modify it to work with its intake.

Will do, I have been looking at the same thing, well kinda, The more I look at it it should work with any intake that mounts in the same area as the air box.

Can you tell how far down it hangs under the scoop area. Not sure if it will clear the blower.

I'm thinking it won't clear the blower because Whipple even tells you to remove the stock hood liner because it will rub. The ram air kit most likely sits lower than the hood liner did.
