06 Mustang/Roush, I can only get the backlighting to light up once in a while on my speedo, this makes it extremely difficult to see my speed at night, does anyone have a clue as to what could be the problem? headlight switch? Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

 

Its not the headlight switch on the highly computerized S197 mustang.
Its a lot deeper than that.
Its got to be the cluster and thats replaced as a whole unit from Roush.
The lights are LEDs and should last the life of the vehicle.
It would seem that maybe Roush messed something up when they
installed the Roush overlays during modification.

Unless you are up to removing the cluster and replacing the SMD LEDs...

 

I agree. I think you had better take this up with Roush.

 

Just checked out the Roush Performance website, seems kinda odd that they don't even sell the roush overlay/speedometer anymore for 05-09s.
