Probably a stupid question, but I don't know the answer and would like to know

For the 2010 Steeda Intake from AM it says you need a SCT SF3/X3 PowerFlash or SCT LiveWire tuner to reprogram the car for the intake

Does this mean I have to buy one of those tuners or what? I allready have a trinity tuner and don't want to buy another.


How else could I reprogram for the CAI? Or should I just look to buy a different intake

You just need an updated tune to load

They say SCT since its a more common tuner
I have not heard of Trinity so it might be abit more obscure and thus have a narrower offering of people to offer tunes

 

Trinity is made by Diablosport

And okay thanks. I'll contact Diablosport about this I guess. To see if they have a custom tune for the Steeda intake

 

if its a diablo tuner then you should be ok
Diablo and SCT are the 2 big handheld tuner makers

though the tunes from Diablo and SCT aren't the best
Bama isn't currently doing Diablo tunes but there should be others out ther that make good tunes for diablo
