Ok so guys my brother is looking for a nice mustang and was thinking of getting an 11' GT, but we just found a 2006 saleen extreme with 24k mi for $30,000 and I don't think he should pass it up. Has anyone here drivin one? I had also heard they are under rated, any idea how much? Thanks guys, I wanna tell him to ****** it up!

Hard to pass up a 550 hp car with forged internals. For an '11 he's still going to be paying 5-6k more.

I know thats the thing, but he would like to wait to find an 11' with about 10k miles on it so I figure it would be about the same price. He isn't in a hurry, but I almost think he should be with a deal like this... I just can't find people who have driven one. I know it has plenty of power, but how is the ride quality and overall quality of the build.

Other than my engine blowing I'm happy with my non-extreme lol. He's have the added protection of a forged motor. I like the 2011 fine, but the extreme is way cool. And rare.
