Hence why its a good business model . You're probably going to buy it from them despite paying more because you'd end up saving money on the re-tune.

I agree, it's an excellent buisness model and one that's probably been very successful for them.

But here's the real selling point... their customer service! You know that when you're a Brenspeed customer then you're going to get great customer service. Sure you might save a few beans by shopping elsewhere, but when you tack on the fact that you get the tune for free and the post purchase support from your tuner, it's really a great package deal. I've purchased my original CAI combo and my supercharger from them and had nothing but the absolute best customer service. They even helped troubleshoot some issues I had during/after my SC install.

I was following a thread about some guy's Bullitt getting some work done at their shop. Looked like a great place. Even have a guest house.

Brenspeed is a stand up place. They take care of their customers and do great work, I have had my car on their rollers a few times right when they first opened up and they knew what they were doing from day 1. I even set up a dyno day for a school car club... they went out of their way to make a trophy for guessing closest to the dyno hp and everything. You can't go wrong with anything from them and I see them at NMRA races all the time and they say hi everytime . I can't say enough good things about brenspeed and I haven't even been to their new location or been there for awhile since I moved back to Iowa.

True. But I would imagine that Brenspeed would be willing to match the price knowing they are going to keep a loyal customer..

I love Brenspeed, their tunes and they helped me out. You just need to discuss the situation with them. I give them top notch customer service and satisfaction.

Im certainly ok with paying a little extra for great customer service. They have never steered me wrong and always been upfront about anything. A guy on this forum was wondering how much they charge for a gear install. I told him what they charged me (500 for install) and he thought it was ridiculous. I told him that i have read to many times where a guy got a gear install at a shop that charged 250 bucks and guys were having to go back 2-3 times to get it right and sometimes more. Sure its a bit pricey buy as a customer i know it was done right!!
