BLOWN 2005 MUSTANG GT ET TIMES
2005 Mustang GT with non-intercooled Vortech Supercharger on otherwise stock 4.6L V8 engine.
I was a little disappointed with these numbers, but take these into consideration:
1. Street Tires
2. Automatic Transmission
3. 3:31 Factory Gear Ratio
2.1635 = 60 FT
5.9558 = 330 FT
8.9422 = 1/8 Mile = 84.07 Mph
Speaking of Gear Ratios ... I am polling the forum on what kind of gears I should
put into my stang. The debate seems to be between 3:73 and 4:10, but I have
heard almost no one talking about 3:90 ... would that not be a happy middle ground?
I cannot wait to see what she will do on the 1/4 mile ... long drive to nearest one

RE: BLOWN 2005 MUSTANG GT ET TIMES
I have a 2005 GT / Auto with the C&L CAI and Xcalibrator custom tune. Nothing else has been done (tires, gears, etc.) I went to the track last night. 1/8th mile
Temp F 167
Rel. Hum. 57
Abs. Barometer 32.23
R/T .657
60' 2.188
330' 5.983
MPH 61.49
1/8th 9.006
MPH 80.19
Not trashing you by any means but I am now wondering if the $4000 for a SC would be worth it for me. I am also looking to get the most from this car and the SC was definatley on my list. I may start looking at N20 now.

RE: BLOWN 2005 MUSTANG GT ET TIMES
Keep in mind part of my problem is that I am putting so much power down that I am not hooking up (might even go into another spin when I hit 2nd gear). Also, my automatic has gear ratio 3:31, so for about $400 with installation for some gears and some good street drag tires, my S/C SHOULD put me into the low 8s maybe high 7s. Right now I am just trying to figure which gear ratio to go with: 3:73, 3:90, or 4:10. I am leaning towards 3:90.
