I love this mount as well, just remove it and store in center console when not in car. I do have the same problem as atldave, a good bump will jar it lose and the power lost message comes up. I tried prying the metal tabs out a little bit to hold it better, works for a while but loosens up. Too bad it wasn't about an inch shorter so that torque was less. Still a clean and easy solution.
