Have You Driven a Stock Version of Your Car After Modding Yours?
#12
Yeah actually, a couple weeks ago I drove around a guys stock V6 convertible.
I haven't done much performance yet, but his was still noticeably less responsive without the aftermarket intake. Not to mention almost completely silent even on the freeway, which is something I haven't had in years.

Last year I put the stock intake/tune back on (before I had 4.10s or any other mods I have now) to diagnose a start up issue I had and it was slow as snails! Shifting was too conservative, it zero pick up, shifting manually had no "pep".. it was "stock", eewwww..
a few weeks ago, with a new motor, I drove around the GT without the blower on and it was about as exciting as it was stock rofl (in comparison to what it was to have a blower on it)
