It may seem expensive but for those of you who have never heard a JL 13.5 you need to hear this thing hit. You may understand the cost if you did. These are fairly new and I would suspect that the price will come down. Yes there are lower cost alternatives out there but Ive owned several JL subs including a 13.5 and there subs are well worth the price. I currently have two 10W6V2's in my L with a 1k amp and they rock.

Can you get the JL Stealthbox with a W7 in it? I currently have a Diamond D6 that runs over 1000 watts and my Memphis 1000 D monoblock amp. I had that in my old Camry...now I 'm trying to build my system for my 2011 GT500. I'm not sure a W6 would handle the memphis amp...maybe? It's rated at 750 (W6). Anyway, where is the cheapest place to get these stealthboxes?

Well, first off this thread is over a year old. In any case I will attempt to answer your questions. I used to work for a mobile audio shop and JL was the big name we really sold a lot of (this was about 7 years ago so products change, ya know). When you see a rating on JL products (watts) it is generally the continuous rating, whereas most manufacturers will put peak ratings. There is no doubt in my mind that the W6 will handle that Memphis amp, and more. As far as the stealthbox with a W7 in it, they are prefab and come with whatever they come with. A custom box could easily be built for a W7 that would be similar to this stealthbox tho. If you want to find the cheapest place, well, coming from a background of a brick and morter store I suggest finding a good mom and pop type shop that cares about what they do and has installers that care about how their installs come out. Cheapest prices tho will most likely be the internet.
