Default Picked up the 5.0...Here are my thoughts...

Specs, sterling gray, manual, comfort, 3.55 gears, brembos, hid's, security.

Let me start by saying my last Mustang was a 90 LX 5.0, 5spd back in 96.
I have very very little experience with the 4.6.

Fit and finish on the car seems very good. Panel gaps are tight and the interior seems very well put together.

6spd is crisp, great engagement, clutch feels good, reverse not a problem getting into.

Brakes are not broken in yet so I have not been hard on them yet, though they feel great so far.

Engine is great. Have not had it past about 5.5k but so far it pulls strong from 4k on. earlier in the rpms it feels like the 4.6 i drove. after 4k just keeps on pulling. 3.55's are fine,, and i use 1st to start off. 3.31 would be fine as well. i think 3.73 for everyday street use would be too low. exhaust in the cabin is not too loud, engine sound is great sounds like the Bullit Stang.

Handling seems very good, took it through some high speed sweepers and it was solid.

overall my impressions of the this car are very good, I cant wait to take it to 7k and really push it...

Drive it like you stole it.

If it breaks it's warranty if it doesn't its going to last a long time.

Don't sweat a break in.

Saw one today under the hood. There's some big tube that runs from the intake to the firewall? To let in engine sound?

There is a tube, but i think most of the sound is just the engine and it would sound great with or without the tube...
