Well, as much as I would like to have the new engine and suspension, I am going to stick with my 07. I still like the way it looks better than the 10 or 11. I can always upgrade the suspension. I garage my car every winter and don't drive it every day either, so I don't quite have 8k on it.

Gdzilla, I'm interested in hearing about how much difference you noticed between the two engines. Did you get another auto tranny or do you have a manual? I plan on keeping my car for a very long time, I am thinking one day in the distant future I can possibly get a 5.0 out of a wrecked car.

Reread your post and saw that you have a manual trans. How much quieter is the cabin in your 11?

Dang. Prices are really going up on cars. You would think with this recession they would be better priced.

Around me the new 2011s are not selling, just sitting on the lots. Heck couple dealers still want full MSRP for 2010. the ford dealer by my house that is high on all their car prices lot is always full and you will see the same car, truck sitting there for months sometimes especially their Mustangs.

Pretty soon performance cars are going to be out of the average persons budget.

The V6 is 20 something thousand dollars and gives you 300 plus HP.

How much less would you like to pay for performance?

If you could go back in time the late 60's muscle cars cost as much as the average person made in a year.

So to sum up?

Cars have never cost less for everything that we get.

Safety,economy,warranty and power.
