How do you recharge your a/c on a 06 mustang gt ??

Get a recharge kit and follow its instructions. Get one with a pressure gauge. It's rather easy. Canister plugs into low pressure side while the AC is on Max and you hold the canister upside down until the pressure gauge reads within range.

The port where you inject the new coolant is on the driver side, right up near the firewall, down below the brake fluid...
There's a small black plastic cap covering the fitting that you unscrew.

Uhhh, not a good idea, inverting the can introduces liguid refrigerant into the system and this can hydro-lock (slug) the compressor. The tapped end should always be up, this allows only gas into the system.

Every recharge kit I've ever had tells you to invert the can.
