Default Will these Exhaust Tips Work?

I'm going to be ordering magnaflow magnapacks soon and want to know if these tips will work or not because they are 2.25 inlet and our exhaust is 2.5 diameter. I don't want to be choking my flow at the tip.

Thanks in advance.

Are you ordering magnapack mufflers to have installed in the OTA pipe to make a midmuffler set-up or are your ordering the axlebacks?

Neither I'm ordering the right size muffler and tips and will have them welded and installed in the same spot as the stock mufflers. I currently have a bad chamber in my JBA muffler so I'm switching to the magnapacks with my Kooks long tubes and catted x pipe. I don't want the bolt on kit one because axle back is 5 inch round muffler and I want 4 inch and too because they never fit right. I'll save some money doing it this way also.

Not to be rude but I would like to know about the orginal question Im not interested in the bolt on system my rear bumper is different and this method is cheaper if I can get an answer. I believe it will fit if stretched by the exhaust shop but was trying to make sure before ordering the tip.

I hope someone can chime in on this for you.
The only thing I was gonna say is maybe you could also ask
your exhaust shop what they thought about it.

I would also call Magnaflow and ask them.
But they are selling the product so I would ask your shop to JUST to double check.
Even if it can be done you want to make sure your shop would do it.

I am not sure about the tips but I know a 2.25" exhaust will fit our 2.5" When I bought my car it came with flow 40 series that had 2.25" inlet/outlet.

No I'm getting magnapacks in the same style, I haven't found many choices of tips in 2.5 that I like.

I don't want to ask the exhaust shop because they are going to try to want me to buy their tip when I can just get these on eBay half price.

One exhaust guy already told me they can cut an inch off of it and stretch it with the machine it's very common but just wanted to confirm with some other sorts.
