For city driving?

Yea I guess I was a little vague, sorry bout that. Well I guess it would most likely be the "stop and go" traffic. Both the V6 and V8 would be in my budget but I was just wondering what would best for a college student. Like I said mainly the "stop and go" would be the issue. After that I would have to say if the gas mileage is really that big of a difference with the V8 compared to the V6. Also if the ride is any different. I have already tried the V8 but not the V6, so if anybody has tried both and tell me if they are the same or if one is worse than the other?
#1) You'll have a sexy car with a grunt that girls are gonna love
#2) Dude, it's a f**king V8 just do it
#3) I test drove both the V8 and V6 and honestly, although the V6 is one hell of a car, I personally just loved the feel of the V8 along with that beautiful growl.
Good news is, you come out of this equation a winner either way whether you pick a V6 or V8

Are you like 19 and just going to college, or an older student going back? How they heck can you afford that expensive of a car and what parent in their right mind would sign a loan to that powerful of a car?
When I was 19 I got a 1999 Mustang GT (3 years old) but the power was nowhere near like the 2005 and newer mustangs are. Im currently 26 and drive a 2006 GT.
I had a post on here about a month ago about myself and how I want a 2011 GT because my 2006 is now inferior IMO to the 2011 GT and I want to upgrade.
I'm in my 20s and still go to college and my parents wont give me more money to use to trade in for a new GT or a Camaro SS or the 370z. They gave me 6 thousands towards my 2006 but they said thats all I'm getting from them.
I'm upset about it, but if I don't get a new car I'll just wait till I get out of school and get like an expensive Corvette or something more powerful than the mustang.
I could have the cash saved up by next year but the banks wont give me a loan which is BS I think.

I think they hurt you by giving you 6 grand for new car... you might not get it now, but you will.
OP... don't get yourself in debt at a young age... it's hard to get out of. If you can buy it in cash... go at it.. if not, get something you can afford. If you can't get a chick without a car... well, you have other issues.
Good luck on your choice!

Im getting 22-25 mpg city out of the 5.0...
Most guys around here rev the V8's way to high to get any fuel mileage. Its not a Honda. If it will pull the next gear smoothly, shift. You should be in 6th by 37-42 mph depending on axle ratio if your worried about fuel mileage. Save the rpm for when its time to play.
