Default Engine parts

hey guys, i have an 05 V6 and i have a pypes true dual exhaust along with a CAI and a tuner, (also bought a throttle body spacer for some reason)

i really want a supercharger but i'm not just gonna buy one and slap it on there, i want to be on the safe side, i know the 4.0 isn't exactly the most supercharger-friendly engine out there

so basically i want to know, where can i get things like cams, gears, pistons etc

i knew of SSM but a rumour went around that they were out of business so i decided to ask you, can you name me a few places ?

Thanks

SSM isn't out of business.

The 4.0L can handle up to around 400hp , plan to spend alot of money if you want to start building the motor. You can get away with running a supercharger/turbo without popping the motor. There are plenty of kits out there that you can run.

I like the TB spacer. It'll look good on the Xmas tree and you can tell stories about how some gullible people actually think they work.

For all the cash you'll spend on performance, why not just get a used GT?

Anton - who says the 4.0 isn't supercharger friendly?

I have the Xcharger Xtreme on my car with 149,000 miles on the engine. No problems, no leaks, car runs 13.3 on a very rich tune (will be getting it dyno tuned this fall). I have the oil analyzed about every third oil change and the engine is showing no problems.

........... I'd have more pleasure out of a boosted 6 beating up on GT's most ordinary GT owners think 300hp owns the road.
