Default Pre forced induction...

Ok so i am starting to wine down on my modification'ing due to me now needing to start saving for a forced induction setup (still deciding super or turbo...?)

So I have made a parts planner to "wein" me off of buying accessories... haha I have on order and already paid for a harness bar, and 2 4 point harnesses.

What last parts i am going to buy soon:

1.5" wheel spacers
2 X oil catch can and breathers (kinda a pre buy for the f/i)

and WORST of all i have to pay for the install of my viper 5901 remote start and alarm 374$$$ !!!!!!! i got the quote today!!! it is going to suck but i am dont with ppl messing with my car.

so 3 more things then i am done until i pay my car off and then FINALLLLLY buying a f/i setup...

I was thinking an xcharger xtreme or a twin turbo setup.... what is better?

Wow if you think 374 is a lot of money then you're going to have a heart attack when you see the final bill on a F/I setup .

Not knocking the impact $374 can have on someone . . . just saying you can expect to spend at LEAST 10x that for the FI.

If it were me, I'd be taking a look at those Viper instructions. That just doesn't seem hard to me in general. I've installed a full gauge setup, and various sets of auxiliary lights and radios/speakers, etc etc, so granted I'm not really deterred by a project like that... but there was a time many years ago I wouldn't have attempted it.

I'm partial to the FRPP, Roush or Edelbrock SC units myself. Turbo's are good I'll probably get slammed for this but they require too much maintenance for street use, and if you think SC cars run like crap when it's hot out then you wont want to experience a TC car.

i have installed my entire sound system, my 3 gauges, mu under glow, my interior lighting, my 2 driving lights, then uninstalled the driving lights, my police scanner hard wired and i have wired my friends cars to....

this is a remote start and alarm system with a 2 way pager there is 60+ wires... i started the install but there are about 40 wires i can not figure out, i thought exactly like you did when i bought the kit "o i can do this no problem" i am soooo wrong haha it is going to take car toys 4 hours to complete and that is a professional
