And that, my friend, is how you get your car keyed. It's a pretty foolproof plan.

This is exactly the reason I still do not park my car close to anyone, or anything. Almost 5 years old and still not one door ding.

I feel bad for OP and have felt his pain, just not with my baby. I park so far from every other car its ridiculous, every now and then I will find a beater parked next to me and thank god no dings yet! Every once in awhile find another stang parked next to me when I return and that puts a smile on my face!

the worst is when you park far away, and some *** hole parks right by you to be cute, they think its funny

OP, sorry for the pain.. That is massively suckiage..

Cal, no crap..

I try to park in B.F.E. when i go shopping anywhere and i'm in the GT.. It might not be the prettist car, but its MINE.. I paid for it.. I make sure no one is around when i park.. Normally i take up 2 parking spots.. It works most the time..

OP good luck..

OUCH!
When reading the original post I had a feeling I knew that the dent would be right on the crease in the door! Worst possible place.
Can't tell what color that is, but I bet if the paint's gone it will take a real paint job to fix that size damage in that location.

Ever consider getting a thick car cover?
Or are there some rubber bumpers for Mustangs? Like the kind they have for boats???

People need to fess up to this crap,
My wife was in the lot on a windy day and the wind cought her door and dented, not dinged, the car beside her, she waited for the lady to get out of the store and we paid, 500 bucks to fix it. Really hoping if I get dinged karma will have me covered and they'll fess up.

I was in a crowded restaurant parking lot and I had no choice but to park between two cars. I sat in the car for a few minutes and watched a woman slam her door into the side of my Stang, look at me, and then get in the car without saying a word. I don't understand how people work...not even a response on her part. Pisses me off so bad. Luckily, no ding when she did that, which is surprising because it was a pretty solid hit.

That doesn't look like it will be too hard to get fixed up, however. I'm sorry and good luck.
im surprised u didnt get out and slap a ho
same thing happened to me but the girl looked, saw me in the car, and immediately apologized lol
luckily nothing happened
