My rebate info comes from here: http://www.fordvehicles.com/incentives/
I entered 2010 Mustang & my zip, which is 46140. Select Mustang GT & there's $3000 retail customer cash, $1000 promotional retail cust cash, & $1000 bonus cust cash.
Sticker on the car is $37,500, & I was quoted $34,983.50 minus $5500 in rebates. Total comes to $29,483.95

I used to be able to take the $500 military appreciation discount, but I retired 3 yrs ago & they don't give that to retirees.

Ok, I got an email back from the Ford dealer..

2010 GT, 5 spd, cloth interior, red, I don't think it has power seats.
Window sticker $29,245
Price quoted $24,487

That's $4758... almost $5K... wonder how much lower they'll go when you are actually sitting in front of them..tempting, although I wasn't in the market for a 2010, lol...

Offer them $23k out the door. When they get that deer-in-the-headlights look, say "too bad" as you get up to leave. They'll stop you before you get to your car and it's yours.

Just a $3000 rebate in my area. Must not be many of them left here.

When I bought my base 2011 I went back on forth on the price and ultimately the payment. They said they could get me into the only 2010 they had on the lot for less per month. My 2011 window sticker was 30,885. The 2010 was a Premium vert with a sticker of 42k. There is only a 2 point difference in the interest rate between the 2011 and 2010 so that would not play a huge roll in lowering the payments.

I think V6 Mustangs waste of $. Rather get a cheaper used 05-10.

The '11 V6 is actually a power house. As it is right now, and this is just the first year for this engine, it is producing almost as much power as the '10 4.6 V8!

With mods, and not expensive ones either, it will surpass the power of a '10 V8.
