I have a 2010 GT with just under 8K mi on it. Over the last 1500 miles or so, the car had developed a harmonic vibration between 1100 and 1400 rpm. The dealer said it was the sound pipe. It's not. I removed it, capped the ends. No change. I was thinking about going to an aftermarket muffler system to fix the problem. Any suggestions. My fear is that might make it worse.

My stock V6 has some vibrations at 1350 to 1700 RPM, and it seems most concentrated at about 1550 RPM. I suspect that the car may do this naturally, but have found very few solutions for any types of vibrations or rattling in the car
