Default Is there a window raise module available?

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a module available for the Mustang which raises the windows when I lock my car with the key. I know it exists for many other cars.

thanks

Plenty of aftermarket alarm systems can do that. Also a good stereo shop should be able to do that if you have the OEM security system. It all depends on how good you are with vehicle electronics.

Just curious aboiut why you wouldnt want that feature with the keyless entry, why manually lock the car with a key?

I thought all S197's had power remotes, and are locked and unlocked with that.
no?

I know on my 05 if I lock and hold the key back the windows go up and if I unlock and hold forward they come down. I can also put the windows down using the key fob, Just gotta hit unlock twice and hold

its an annoying feature imo. I remember when I had unplugged the battery when removing my old motor, I went to grab something from the passenger side and when I went to close the door the window nearly cracked! It was stuck upwards and did not retract being that the battery was off.. I closed it slowly and that worked.

Just FYI if you ever have to unplug the battery and open your doors.

Only early 05 models do that. Ford fixed a bunch of 05's and quit offering it due to safety concerns. I think it would be awesome to have personally.

Stupidity of a few screw the whole populace. Figures

yes I actually mean the remote not the key itself

Too bad they removed that feature after 05. But wouldnt it be easy to mod that if the car already had it in 05?

Go to a good stereo shop, they should be able to add that feature fairly easily.

I was thinking the same thing...My wife just bought a camaro (I know) and it does exactly that with both the key and fob...Still trying to see the 'safety' issue, but ?
