I've had pretty good luck in the past buying cars on Christmas eve or New Year's eve. The dealerships are usually completely dead, and everyone just wants to go home... this translated into "no BS" deals at invoice minus rebates to simply "move a unit" before year end.

That's when I bought mine, dec 29 or so.

At that time, they just want them to be out of there themselves and they also want to get their inventory out for the year end.
