I did tell her I would be running 89. She was just not thinking about it I guess.

Why not buy a tune? Because I have no money. I just got my first job and haven't gotten a paycheck yet. Besides, I have already used most of the scraps that remain in my wallet to buy that 93 octane gas, and I need the last like 20 bucks to get some 89 once this synthetic 88.5 octane I have runs out.

Oh, well, in that case, coal for mom & break out the thumbscrews...

Chit happens. The car is fine; your wallet will be fine.

Find a way to make lemons into lemonade. Happy holidays!

Haha, yeah. She really felt bad about it too, but didn't understand why it mattered.

You too, man. You too.

I have a 93 octane tune and ive had my dad drive my car and he slipped in half a tank of 87.. I drove on it with no problems until he told me and i quickly poured in the 93 .

Its not a big deal at all.
