Chirping sound while driving?!

I agree with onederful100.
I'd get some belt dressing (although I hate the stuff personally) and give the belt a shot the next time it starts chirping. If that stops it, then it's probably time for a new belt (but COULD be a pulley quieting down from the dressing, too).
How many miles on that belt?

One of the reasons why a belt will begin to chirp/squeal is because they are bad. Sometimes you get a bad belt, even if very few miles are on it.
By replacing the belt, you eliminate the belt as being the source of the problem. And if the chirping/squealing persists, you know to now look at your pulley wheels and their bearings.

I'm not sure I'd be that worried about it and ready to change the belt at this time. Give it a good visual for nicks, fraying and other obvious wear or damage. Then I'd try the dressing sparingly when the chirping happens.
Belts will usually chirp due to the contact surface beginning to glaze, a pulley begins to wear or wobble or a combination of both.

You shouldn't. You should be able to go to virtually any automotive store and they should be able to get the belt for your specific engine.
If you want, you can even go to any Ford dealership and they can sell you an OEM belt.

You mentioned that the chirping gets louder when you give it gas. The question that hasn't been asked is: does it also get faster?
If so, then it is probably related to one of the front wheels and it just *sounds* like it is an engine compartment thing.
*the path a annoying sound takes to finally reach your ear, can be a PITA. I had what I thought was a weird rattling sound in my trunk and center-stack, and it ended up being a loose hanger-bracket on my transmission crossmember.
noises suck.
some other questions to ask yourself: Does it still make the sound in reverse? How about while standing still and idling?
